Rough Seas - Tough Tuna (Game Fishing)
www.bragnrelease.com THE BEST FISHING VIDEOS FROM AROUND THE WORLD!
Tuna, pound for pound, are one of the toughest fighters in the ocean. How many fisherman have been bought to their knees, after thinking the first sight of the double, meant the battle was nearly
over, only to be found wanting when the battle had only truely just begun. If you want to catch Tuna and I mean big Tuna, then you've got to go when its good for them, not good for you. This
usually means some serious turbulence in the sea via some serious wind against the prevailing current. Nothing brings the big boys to the surface better, it may be coincidental, but it also stops the
boat drifting as fast and allows the burley and baits to go deeper. If you love catching Tuna, then start loving those winter Southerlies, The rougher the better for them.

Humpback Whale Watching. Sydney, Australia
www.bragnrelease.com THE BEST FISHING VIDEOS FROM AROUND THE WORLD!
A couple of Humpback Whales visit us on their way to Antarctica, we were told by avid Whale Watchers that the one with the bent fluke was new to these waters, apparently individual Humpback Whales are
more easily identifiable than other species of Whales by virtue of their tails.

Two Anglers - One Very Big Blue Shark! Double Hookup
www.bragnrelease.com THE BEST FISHING VIDEOS FROM AROUND THE WORLD!
We were cubing for Yellowfin Tuna and Albacore, when one very hungry Blue Shark scoffed two of the baits and gave two first time game fishermen a tussle they won't forget for a while. After
eventually getting this magnificent specimen up for a chat and a few pics, she bid us a fond farewell. I'm continually amazed by how many sharks we catch and release, mainly Makos and Blues,
despite only using the 60-80lb traces and 6/0 circle hooks we use for Tuna and they all go home in good condition.

Sailfish Surveillance - Customs Flyover
www.bragnrelease.com THE BEST FISHING VIDEOS FROM AROUND THE WORLD!
Sometimes a stalemate is not limited to chess. Dom and I both had good Sailfish on, unfortunately they were both going in opposite directions and we were both seriously running short of line, hence
Garry the Skip(he's got other names) had no choice but to cut the engines. Precisely at that moment, after not seeing hide nor hair of another human being for eight days, a Customs Plane gives us
the double swoop and asks us what we're doing out here stationery. After numerous expletives are forthcoming from Garry, along the line of "what the **** does it look like we're *******
doing", Garry recognises the voice and it's laughs all round. Though they refused to give us copies of the pictures (which caused major interference with our video camera) during their third
swoop later on, perhaps seven brown eyes were a tad too much.

See Part 2 of "The Record Catch" where our cameraman falls for the same prank 30 minutes after filming this video.
www.bragnrelease.com/forum/member_video_view.asp?VideoID=678
Paul has finally opened the vault and allowed this video to be shown to the world. It's a classic joke which has served him well, and those who have fished with him, for nearly 30 years. On this
day comedian and singer, Allan from the UK, who's usually dishing out the jokes was on this ocassion the brunt of one and he handled it exceptionally well.
As far as we know there's no other footage of this prank, so give it a go and don't forget to video.

Sportfishing The Kimberleys - Multiple Hookups at the \
www.bragnrelease.com THE BEST FISHING VIDEOS FROM AROUND THE WORLD!
We were heading down the Kimberley coast on our way home to Broome after ten fantastic days fishing. In the distance we could see the tell tale smoke from the seasonal burn off, that's forever
been part of the Aboriginal culture. I knew we were in the vicinity of a pinnacle smothered in fish that Garry had kept to himself for the last 20 years, so when he yelled, 'Paul come and have a
??????? look at this', I knew the sounder was raging. What happened next was pure fishing bliss. Every rod went off as one. Seven different ratchets singing seven different tunes and all at high
pitch. The diversity of scenarios and species was awe inspiring, with bite offs and bite in halfs, as common as 'how ?????? good is this'. Wahoo, Spanish Mackeral, Yellowfin Tuna, Giant
Trevally, Cobia, Barracuda and numerous species of Whaler Shark. Who knows what other fish monstered our lines, it was one absolute fishing frenzy and alas 'The Alamo' for most of our
surviving lures and jigs, only a few made it home.

Sailfish On The Fly - Broome Tournament, Western Australia
BragNRelease.com THE BEST FISHING VIDEOS FROM AROUND THE WORLD!
See Part 2 of "Sailfish On The Fly" at www.bragnrelease.com/forum/member_video_view.asp?VideoID=679
It was Broome's Inaugural Fly Fishing Tournament for Sailfish and we were fishing for Sydney Fly Rodders, apart from a few international entrants it was virtually a State of Origin Series with a
couple of extra states thrown in. As luck would have it Sydney was in the right state. We were fortunate to have on board in our quest, good mates Dennis "Brazakka" Wallace, a recent
inductee into The Marlin Hall of Fame and Paul B Kidd, a well known fishing journalist/editor and identity in Sydney Gamefishing circles.

Rock Fishing Sydney - Deadliest Sport Down Under
Part 2 and 3 at www.bragnrelease.com THE BEST FISHING VIDEOS FROM AROUND THE WORLD!
It was a good day for fishing or for surfing, so after a modicum of contemplation, we decided to do both. Though the surf at Bondi Beach in the distance appeared to be pumping, I reckon I caught the
wave of the day. Though "out the back" can have a tad more urgency when you're rock fishing, than when you're surfing, both scenarios can end with you being the filling in a
"wave sandwich".
From The Angler:
"In response to numerous comments as to my sanity or lack thereof, here's the story behind the video.
I grew up less than 1 mile from this spot and have fished from this rock since I was 12 years old. As young kids in the local surf club, we'd come here to body surf bigger waves than these, back
into the deeper waters behind where we fish. While I don't advocate reckless behaviour on the rocks, I have been a rock fisherman all my life and I figure I'd be the best judge of a
situation that I put myself into. I knew the tides, the wind, the swell, I watched it for 1 hour. There was a ground swell, so there was always that possibility it could get lumpy, even though the
tide was well on the way down. Accordingly, I told the others not to fish unless I gave them the nod ........ and the rest you saw. The freak set I said could be a possibility, became a reality, so
rather than surf it effortlessly to the deeper pool behind, I instead confronted it and saw it through. It's no giant feat or act of irresponsibility either, it's just a bit of fun at a
fishing spot I love and know like the back of my hand."

A Sailfish Named 'Desire' - 25 Jumps Across The Sunset
www.bragnrelease.com THE BEST FISHING VIDEOS FROM AROUND THE WORLD!
Not only do sailfish patrol the drop offs, but also the very shallow waters at Scott Reef, we've actually seen them herd bait in close to the shore before dispatching it. Hence its no surprise
when you encounter them fishing for other species with other rigs. They're likely to turn up anywhere around this reef system, a few of us hooked them up on baitcasters, until we were spooled
that is, about 3 seconds later.

Spinning Sailfish Jumping Wahoo - Scott Reef
www.bragnrelease.com THE BEST FISHING VIDEOS FROM AROUND THE WORLD!
Tough and unrivalled at speed, being the fastest fish in the ocean, the ability of the Sailfish to spin in its attempts to dislodge the hook can be truely mesmerising. That they can manage composure
and charge off in another direction immediately after such displays is a tribute to the magnificent gamefish that they are. They are the true "Whirling Dervishes" of the ocean.
A few times we've had wahoo stalking the lures, actually drop back, only to come hurtling from the water from 10 metres behind and 4 metres above to smash their prey. If you match their
blistering speed with their aeronautics, then not much is safe from this awsome predator, widely recognised as head of the "Razor Gang", with the spanish mackeral and the barracuda, being
next in line.
