We were cubing for Yellowfin Tuna and Albacore, when one very hungry Blue Shark scoffed two of the baits and gave two first time game fishermen a tussle they won't forget for a while. After eventually getting this magnificent specimen up for a chat and a few pics, she bid us a fond farewell. I'm continually amazed by how many sharks we catch and release, mainly Makos and Blues, despite only using the 60-80lb traces and 6/0 circle hooks we use for Tuna and they all go home in good condition.
